I quite like
the fading transition from the band performance to the narrative of the music
video for ‘One’, by Metallica. Usually, the fading transition is used in film
to imply that a somewhat extended amount of time has gone by, however, in this
video, the fading transitions are more of a theme than an implication of time
passing by as the fading continues as the music begins to increase its pace. At
the point in the video that this screen-shot is at, the song is at a fast,
low-pitched strumming section -- my track has a lot of this.
